OUR HISTORY

MICHAEL MAYERHOFER, the Owner of MM MASTERWOODWORK, was educated in Vienna, AUSTRIA, EUROPE.

Trained by a best known High End Cabinetmaker company named "Dolivka " who was famous for the old school craftsman techniques and the most precised custom woodworking of Vienna in the last century.

After 5 years of work as a journeyman he joined the Master program for Cabinetmaker/Woodworking.

 

Before Michael moved to Vancouver 2006 he got many years of experiences in the heart of Europe, doing High End Cabinetry, Woodworking and Renovations. He became self employed 2009 with providing new Cabinets for Kitchens, Living spaces, and Renovations to clients.

Than soon, he followed his big love to do installations of High End cabinets and Mill Work.

Providing his service to other High End Cabinetmakers and Contractors in the greater Vancouver area and West Vancouver. Installing all kind of Cabinets and Woodwork in houses and apartments to perfection.

 

He created a technique to prepare the sit conditions like walls and floors, to be able to mount and install cabinets 100% perfect in technical terms, so that they sit or hang in a perfect straight line and plumb.

This is very important and especially for the new designed modern Kitchens and living space, which are most of the time just flat from top to bottom, very clean and not forgiving if not 100% correct installed.
